The International Symposium on Experimental Robotics is a forum dedicated to experimental research in robotics. ISER is a single-track symposium featuring a limited number of presentations on experimental research in robotics. The symposium also includes papers focused on robotics theory and principles which have been validated by physical experiments or on experimental paradigms and designs that inspire new theoretical approaches.
The review process involves the submission of extended abstracts by March 31st, 2016 Anytime on Earth (AoE). Accept/Reject decisions will be made by May 31st, 2016. Authors of accepted papers are invited to submit a full paper by July 31st, 2016.
1. Submission of 6-page extended abstract for review
We invite submissions of six-page extended abstract (PDF format) which should be submitted for review using the outline below.

- Motivation, Problem Statement, Related Work (1 page)
- Technical Approach (1 page)
- Results (1 page)
- Scheduled experiments (1 page)

Extended abstracts are due by March 31st, 2016 via the EasyChair paper submission system.
2. Submission of Final Conference Papers due by August 1st
The conference version of the paper is due by August 1st, 2016. You will need to:
- register to the conference
- submit a pdf version of your paper
- submit your source files in latex or Word format.
- submit your paper Springer’s transfer of copyright form
The maximum allowable length is 10 pages (2 extra pages will be allowed with extra charge of 20.000JPY/page). The extra page fees are to be paid via the registration webpage. Once you have finished entering your personal information, you can look at a page where you can edit your personal info, and check your application status. From there click on "New/additional application" under "Registration" and here you can pay for the extra page fee.
